This paper deals with the domestic and international environments for the growth of Korean small industries in the 80's. During the periods of the 1960's and 1970's Korean industries as a whole have played a great role in facilitating the rapid economic growth of the nation. The GNP has grown at real rate of an annual average of 10% and exports have expanded at real rate of 40% at current prices.
