To measure the IL score, 12 items from the Eisenberg & Berkowitz¡¯s Big Six Model are ed (presented at the Web site http://www.ischool.washington.edu/mbe).

Although VSB managers are provided with programs by government, universities and consultants, they have difficulties in accessing to supporting network and also show a low level of OAs. Factor Analysis shows that there are two significant factors : DSA (Definition-Seeking-Access) and USE (Use-Synthesis-Evaluation). In regression analysis for each OA item, the factor scores are used. Two factors, DSA and USE are influencing positively all six OAs.

  • - Park Kwang Ho (Hanyang University)
[Abstract]
Small and medium companies informatization has been greatly enhanced by the supports from government and big companies. However, a recent survey reveals that the informatization level of small and medium companies stays at lower than 70% of that of big companies. This paper presents an ERP operations control framework (EOCF) for the small and medium companies which must proactively react to the changes in the global manufacturing environment requiring informatization, operations performance evaluation, and internal control. EOCF is constructed through case studies on 5 small and medium sized companies with risk areas such as transaction processing, process intrinsic, and data quality. Consisting of three balanced risk cards, EOCF provides real-time business process evaluation mechanism that complements the recent performance evaluation mechanism such as the balanced score card and contributes the operation levels of ERP/SCM while digitizing the internal control.

[Abstract]
The Purpose of the current study is (1)to identify and integrate three types of network benefits: access to information acquisition, access to tangible resources, and cooperative support from network members, (2)to examine the relationship between network characteristics and network benefits. we classify network characteristics as structural characteristic such as density, centrality and relational characteristic such as trust and relational norm, and then identify the role of those constructs as antecedents. Based on related literature review such as social capital theory, resource-based view, the conceptual model is proposed.
In order to develop and test a model, we was empirically to examine how network characteristics can reinforce network benefits using 123 firms. Through multiple regression analysis, we found that network characteristics influence network benefits as expected except the relationship between centrality and access to information acquisition, access to tangible resources, Finally, We discuss several theoretical and practical implications, and suggest the limitations of this study and future research directions
