The objective of this study is to find the manufacturing industries in which small and medium business(SMB) has a comparative advantage on production over large, and to provide the accurate information on the specialization and subcontracting relationships between SMB and large business.
To pursue this objective, a linear model was developed from CES(Constant Elasticity of Substitution) production function as a tool to measure the technical progress under the assumptions of neutral technical progress, constant returns to scale, and homogeneous inputs for the period from 1973 to 1982. ...
